Synopsis

Album Description
Watch out for an absolutely wonderful debut CD single that is destined to become a synthpop classic. "XRV" shines as a song that's not only catchy and club-friendly, but it also has a depth within the lyrics that makes it even more memorable. You'll quickly be reminded of IRIS, Cause and Effect, or other synthpop classics as you hear the clear vocals combine with smooth synthpop production. You'll be even more impressed by the excellent b-side songs and exciting remixes-- the Nevarakka remix pushes the song into a high-energy trance sound, while the "Upstairs at Eric's Mix" barrows some memorable synth-hooks from Yazoo to make a retro-flavored mix that could become a cult hit.

"There are very few releases I've purchased in the past several years that grab me from the moment I first pop them into the cd player. This is definately one of them! XRV alone is a great song. The remixes are absolutely amazing. The track 8 remix - 'Domination mix' is unbelieveable and it wouldn't suprise me in the least if I heard it in clubs soon. The track 4 remix - 'Upstairs at Eric's' is a very very close second favorite. I also have to mention that 'Vinyl Bliss' and 'Oxygen' are great as well. I wholeheartedly recommend this cd to anyone who can appreciate great music. Can't wait for more from TDOL!"

"Very catchy tune - my favorite is the original dub (track 1). This is a band to watch. They are currently working on a full-length album. Check out the other track "Satellite", found on the "Synthpop for a Darkened Room 2" compilation album. Very, very good."
