Album DescriptionPhiladelphia, PA ? March 14, 2003 ? Musical Director Waltier Blocker wrote and arranged a compilation of the Episcopal Church Mass set to gospel music and songs that will inspire the soul, encourage the heart and magnify Jesus Christ. Waltier Blocker has been the musical and spiritual director since the choir began in 1991. With evangelism being a very important factor in this ministry the choir began to learn various styles of Gospel, Contemporary and Christian music. The diversity of Mr. Blocker?s talent is apparent with the anointed, spiritual and moving song of "Thank You" to the sound of old style, foot tapping music in "I?ve Got To Praise His Name" to showcasing the contemporary gospel sound in "You?re Never Alone" while offering the black religious experience in Episcopal/Anglican liturgical worship by updating the traditional morning service mass music. This anointed recording features some of the Philadelphia area finest singers and musicians to include; Beverly Brockington, Willis Hickerson and Jerome Robbins just to name a few.
