Erin Ashley | Phoenix, AZ | 10/02/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "There is no info online about this product so here is a little about this great lullaby album: It is a soothing instrumental album with classic lullabies such as Brahm's Lullaby, Rock-a-bye Baby, Are You Sleeping, and Hush Little Baby. It has piano, guitar, and flute, among others - beautiful music. With all the lullaby CDs out there, I was looking for something a little more simple, not so overproduced like a lot of them, and this is exactly what I wanted. It comes with a lyrics booklet so you can sing or hum along to your baby and it's in a range that makes it easy to do so. We use this music as part of our 3-month-old's bedtime routine and he is instantly calmed by it. I highly recommend it." While piano music geared for adults does a good job, this is the best one I've found geared for babies. Everyone raves about the Baby Einstein CDs, but I find them to be a bit too bubbly and musicbox-esque. There are times when my daughter loves the Baby Einstein music, but when it is really time to relax this Tender Lullabies CD is the best. The songs are classic lullabies that are very recognizable, and a number of different instruments are incorporated into each song. There are no sharp or punctuated moments in the songs, and they really flow. My daughter can easily mellow out while listening to the music, and I enjoy it also."
