"Perhaps the earliest recorded vocals of a 19-year-old Daryl Hall debuts on CD here with songs from the two Temptones singles "Girl I Love You" b/w "Goodbye" and "Say These Words of Love" b/w "Something Good" (Super rare. They appear on Arctic Records).The style is basic early 60's rock and very well-polished. Other highlights are "Baby Yes I Do" (I'd love to hear Daryl Hall & John Oates re-record that one) and "So Hard To Be Loved By You".The rest of the album is outtakes from (I believe) Barry Glazer's collection consisting of a capellas of nine other songs. Nothing that would sell to the unsophisticated ear but a treasure to those who wish to go back in time and see the genesis of the magic of Daryl Hall & John Oates.The album includes a biography, pictures of The Temptones and The Temptations."
