Synopsis

Product Description
The second album released by guitarist Teddy Presberg in 2009 with more genre bending music, pulsing with funk, through his signature of honest, raw recordings. Teddy uses the Jack Kerouac method of using first takes and writing songs on the fly. That recording style, along with his prowess on guitar has made him a darling of the bloggers. One percent of the album proceeds are donated to 1% For The Planet, benefiting the Organic Farming Research Foundation in Santa Cruz, California. Through additional financial contributions to The Climate Trust, the album is also a neutral greenhouse gas production.Teddy Presberg is known for speaking his own soulful language on the guitar. He's not flashy with in-your-face chops. He can own one note, and with that note, you know exactly what he means. Teddy plays for the moment, never repeating himself - risking the falls to reach the musical highs.Ropeadope Records released Teddy's debut solo recordings: Blueprint of Soul which was honored as a Critic's Pick Top 10 Album of 2007 by All About Jazz. Teddy's latest contribution, Outcries from a Sea of Red was released in 2009 and is a more experimental yet more polished approach to Teddy's music. This long-awaited genre-bending album put Teddy on his second national tour. Teddy has shared the stage with other current guitar masters such as David 'Fuze' Fiuczynski, Fareed Haque, and John Scofield and performed at festivals including the Saint Louis Jazz Festival and 10,000 Lakes Festival. The music of Teddy Presberg has another important characteristic: it is environmentally friendly. His touring is greenhouse gas free and endorsed by the eco-cool clothing company Nau. Teddy was also a part of the ''Keep it Simple Tour'' which was co-sponsored by the town of Alta, UT, and the eco-friendly organic bar producer Clif Bar.
