CD Reviews

A Yee, here's your answer

"The lyrics that were questioned above are from Eve of the War (War of the Worlds). I heard a remix and about beat myself silly trying to remember where I had originally heard this.

One of the best Bass/Techno albums ever. A true classic in the car stereo world. If you have a sub, and you don't own this CD, buy it NOW!"
Still unsurpassed

"I enjoyed this CD (was it a tape back then?) when it was new. I recently rediscovered this, and the samples and beats are still fresh. My sound system can't hit the deep notes, but the deep notes aren't what make this CD.

BTW: I did some research on the samples from DPE, and they all seem to be from War of the Worlds.

"Full contact lost, Pasadena"

"I reckon we can make it"

"The next day, the dawn was a brilliant, fiery red" ..

"and all that remained was this gaunt, quiet."

"We can't win"

"This is my territory"

"Houston, come in"

"We got problems"

"We must stay cautious""
Excellent CD for bass and/or sample music

"This was my first true "bass" CDs when I was first into car stereo. As a bass-album, this CD is excellent. Techmaster does not only provide the 30 and under hertz signals, but they also provide some funky sounding music that is really well assembled.Today, years after I have left the "bass scene", I still enjoy this album immensely. The samples are extremely well done and the mixing is top-notch. After some of the songs, I can't help but to think "that was great!"This is one of the CDs that started the whole bass-scene (along with a few other groups/discs) and it is still one of the best in my opinion."
