Artistic solo album from Tarja!

"Tarja has crafted an impressive solo album filled with emotional compositions showcasing her unique operatic vocal style. The mood of the album is dark and there is a nice mixture of guitar heavy tracks and some very strong and memorable ballads - Tarja's voice is definitely made for epic ballads. Highlights include the Muse influenced "Until My Last Breath", the Arabian feel and great guitar riffs of "Dark Star", the epic and intense ballad "Underneath" which contains great lyrics, the sweet melodic vocals of "Rivers Of Lust", and the gorgeous ballad "The Archive Of Lost Dreams". There's some relatively big name players on here including a guitar solo by Joe Satriani, drums by Mike Terrana and bass playing by Doug Wimbish to satisfy savvy musicians. The album packaging is also high quality with a stunning album cover and an excellent booklet plus bonus tracks on the special edition at almost the same price. Recommended to fans of Tarja and female fronted metal."
