Tania maria is one of the most talented artist in piano, vocals & her unique scatting sound is inimitable. What I like most about her is her Brazilian accent in English, that unique interpretation of this thing called Jazz is great.All the songs here are marvelous but my favourate is "If I could change" if u listen carefully to this song the title could have been "the jilted lover" without changing the words in it.the lady cries so sadly & her pleadings stays in your mind for a very long time after the song. "yes is the way" is also very funky. "From my window" a wonderful song.Others Bluesilian, Please me,All alone together are also great. I have been looking for an artist who might match TM's skills but so far I haven't heard one. Even the so called "similar artist" don't come close to Tania Maria's skills.
