Synopsis

Album Description
Time For One More Song - An album that bundles genres, influences, and the favorite musicians of keyboardist Brian West. The musicians include drummer Nikkyle Wells, lead guitarist David Brazil, poet Nhan Le, Brad Suppanz on sax, guitarist/ songwriter Littlebird, blues pianist/ singer Jewell Ausbon and of course his songwriting brother Kenneth Ray West. The styles including Satriani/ Vai - Metal mixed with Techno, Classic Rock, Kitaro like New Age, and a nice touch of Sax & piano on some raw blues, are just some of what you'll hear on this CD. One is taken from the introduction piece She Whispers, straight into a fiery speedmetal-techno tune called "Mirai", of course Japanese for Future. Next, the listener is brought to a Southern bluesy piano, blues female singer, Jewell Ausbon with the relaxing track "Tell Me All About It". Then on to other Moody Blues & Kitaro Influenced songs, plus a hauntingly, beautiful acoustic track from an artist known as Little Bird. Most of the tracks are from Kenneth Ray West, older brother of Brian West. Ray has an enormous collection of great songs and we look forward to more just as great as our favorites on the cd, Laura, Laura plus the last song.. "Time For One More Song". If you know about Brian West you'd know he normally only plays keyboards and helps in writing the parts for many songs, or just instrumentals. But on this CD, you'll find his illustration of Nhan Le's poems not only in New Age instrumental music, but also with vocals. "World's Apart" it's titled, and is a pleasant surprise. The album turned out to be so pleasant just by having a wide variety of genres and certainly offers something enjoyable to almost every music lover.
