Album Description
This is Patience Mudeka's debut solo recording. She is a long time member of the Idwala Elikhulu Theatre and Dance Troupe in her native Zimbabwe as well as a former member of the Blacks Unlimited (Thomas Mapfumo's backing band). Six of these songs were recorded in Zimbabwe with an all-star band including members of the Blacks Unlimited and Ephat Mujuru's band Spirit of the People. Ephat guests on two tracks. Plus three bonus tracks recorded with Patience's U.S. band - Rufaro Mbira Band. 9 songs, 65 minutes.
