Jansen | Amsterdam, The Netherlands | 05/22/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Growing up during the 70's in de "Bijlmer" (a multicultural neighbourhood in Amsterdam, The Netherlands) this was the album heard on every Antillian and Surinam party. 32 years after it's release I still consider this to be the best album in it's genre. Whenever the sun comes out in spring I need to hear this album at least a couple of times, year after year. This is uplifting, emotional, joyful, spiritual and highly energetic dance music. Later albums of Tabou Combo in my opinion never reached the magic of this overwhelming live debut. Whenever I deejay and play this for a crowd people always come up to me to ask what it is. Works on all audiences, guaranteed floorfillers. Cheers."
