"Because the other reviewers don't mention it and some critisize the quality of the music on the CD, I thought I would mention that this is a CD of demo songs that became the album Tabitha's Secret?
Per the official Tabitha's Secret web site (www.tabithas-secret.com): "Don't Play With Matches is a collection of original demo recordings made when the band was still alive. Tracks 1 through 8 feature material produced by the band itself, while tracks 9 through 12 were produced by a well known producer, who's name we cannot publish here. That explains why a couple of tracks appear twice on this compilation. This disc is considered a must have for serious collectors, containing original raw and unpolished studio performances from the mid-1990's."
This CD has really nice quality for a demo CD! It seems to lack fullness in a very raw way because it IS a demo CD.
I have to admit that I looked into Tabitha's Secret because I am a Matchbox 20 fan and I have found that I am as much in love with these songs as I am with Matchbox 20 songs.
I highly recommend that you visit the official website!"
