"Another classic ion records album. This one like the reaminator compilation features various mixes from laswell and others. Laswell has 2 tracks on this one under his older band name material. The first material song is a remix of the osscilation

beat with electric piano and ambient insandouts traditional laswell style, for about 10:00 then the beat slows down to a all new dub mix. graham haynes is on trumpet. Second song is dj soul slinger which also remixes the osscilation beat with a bueseyish guitar riff and percussion. 3rd song is the second material song with an all new laswell dub style mix until about 16:00 into he continues with the osscilation beat with byard lancaster on sax throught. Then dj spooky has his dub song with thick bass and an excellent flute solo by tredlite da spazecrafta. My man also like the reanimator cd is the last song, ben wa remixes full cone with an awesome dub style fashion. All in all this cd is for an fans of laswell or material in general, or anyone who bought the reanimator album will love"
