CD ReviewsT-30 Control - 'Blade Of The Sun' Mike Reed | USA | 06/15/2007 (4 out of 5 stars) "I'm almost sure this was released on the Voiceprint label, but the copy I got was of the artist's own limited edition pressing. Really nicely done ambient / space rock effort by the duo of Peter Smith and Vincent Rees. Tunes here I was most impressed with were "Turn Of The Blade" {has a nice space-like vibe to it, just wish it was longer}, the dark "Rise Into The Sun", "Earth Beneath Us", the rhythmic "Absence Of Time" and "Sunphazer Suite". Should appeal to fans of Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, Nik Turner, Anubian Lights, Klaus Schulze and possibly '80's Hawkwind. Worth checking out."
