"This album is so dynamic and amazing. It's got that euro/swedish sound but totally unique with an array of synth and amazing beats. The vocalist is frickin amazing, his singing voice is very original sounding and screaming style reminds me of Tim Williams of Bloodsimple, formerly Vision of Disorder. But ya, this album is interesting from beginning to end, and each song is unique and catchy. Not mainstream crapy catchy....Metal catchy. Get it if you can find it...I dont think they have the best distribution in the U.S. yet."

"Incredible Industrial Metal band, lots of keyboards, double kicks, screams and melodic vocals, all done with lots of inspiration and the production is top-notch. If you are into Fear Factory, Mnemic, Meshuggah, Soilwork you should get this album asap. It's a shame it's so hard to find it here in the US."

"This is an excellent album, in fact it's become one of my favorites of all time. Excellent synth work, crushing guitar and drums, soaring and screeching vocals, and it's very driving and melodic. It also sounds great, the production is very good. It's a shame these guys are so unrecognized, I'm literally drooling for their third album!"

"Sybreed is from Switzerland, not the kind of country that produces a lot of bright metal acts. That is for the surprise effect. They'll blow you away with Dirk Verbeuren (Scarve, Soilwork) behind the drums. Anyway, start with the first album to get to know them Slave Design. You'll love it if you think Fear Factory is disappointing and over-rated."

"Antares is the second release from Swiss Cyber metalists Sybreed and it is superior to their previous release in every way. Fantastic production by Drop with soaring clean vocals and fantastic, almost robotic screams that will give you chills. The drums are top notch, as they were played by Dirk of Soilwork. If you like atmospheric keyboards from bands such as Soilwork, Rammstein, In Flames, Fear Factory, and Mygrain, then this album will not disappoint you!
Emma-0: A fantastic intro to the album. Starts off with some fantastic sound effects before hitting your ears with killer riffs and mind-blowing screams. Very good clean chorus as well. A very catchy song. 4/5
Ego Bypass Generator: My favorite intro/keyboards in the entire album. Very techno/industrial song. Reminiscent of Fear Factory. Same formula as before, screams, keyboards, machine-gun drumming and an incredible clean chorus. 5/5
Revive My Wounds: My favorite song on the album. I really love the chorus in this song. He gets his voice so a really high note and holds it for a couple of seconds and you can't help but sing a long with it. Killer riff and drumming. Towards the end the drums get into this rhythm where Dirk speeds up 4 different times then goes back to the first speed. It's unbelievable. Also, the verses in this song are filled with rich screams and deep lyrics. Perfection! 5,000/5
Isolate: Starts off with a haunting church bell. Definitely the most techno-industrial song on the album. Mostly a cleanly sung song with small interludes of screaming. My best description of this song is a techno-ballad. It is fantastic, slow paced, and remarkably catchy. 5/5
Dynamic: A skullsmasher! Fast, relentless drumming. Match that up with the killer riffs and keyboards that really make it seem like you're going to hell while you're listening to the song. It's insane and definitely awesome. 90% screaming in this one until the end where there is a small portion of clean vocals. Heaviest song on the planet. 4.5/5
Neurodrive: A very techno filled song. Keeps a great rhythm and throws in a lot of keyboards to keep the song atmospheric. Very catchy clean vocals in two parts of the song. I hear it's not a big favorite but I absolutely love it. 5/5
Ex-Inferis: Somewhat of a filler track but really shows off the talents of the keyboardist. Instrumental techno interlude. Picture I Robot music. This song would fit right into that movie. 3.5/5
Permafrost: Another heavy track. It's a really fascinating experience to listen to Ben's screaming ability in this song. He pronounciates every syllable perfectly and the way he keeps his rhythm in this song is astounding. Very interesting to comprehend. All in all, screaming verses, clean chorus, awesome song. 4.5/5
Orbital: This song is a weird one. Starts off with just industrial keyboards. The verses are sung in a robotic voice and then the chorus lasts about 2 minutes. There's 2 chorus's in the song and his clean vocals really so shine on this track. Not my favorite track, but a good one none-the-less. 4/5
Twelve Megatons Gravity: When I heard this song for the first time I was caught totally off guard. There's this loud noise that keeps repeating throughout the song that will almost always make you smile. Sounds like a laser firing. Easily the fastest song on the album. A lot of screaming, complex beats, really fast and precise drumming. Oh, and the techno interlude leads right into the clean singing chorus. During the chorus he sings really deep but then on one or two words he goes really high pitched. I love how he mixes up his pitches, keeps things interesting. Incredible song. 5/5
Ethernity: A 9+ minute epic. No screaming on here. Song is mostly comprised of techno-sounds and light guitars. Very slow, atmospheric, mellow. Good use of choir towards the end of the song. Only track to feature a guitar solo. Great use of his voice in this track, you can hear the layers, which actually adds to the track. 4.5/5
Technocracy: (THIS TRACK IS NOT ON THIS ALBUM-JAPAN ONLY) I was lucky enough to own the Japanese version of the album to hear Technocracy. If you own Antares and do not have this track you will be disappointed! 2 screaming verses that remind me of Permafrost only to be complimented by an enchanting and haunting cleanly sung chorus. The chorus is totally catchy and is repeated 4 times throughout the song. After the 4th time, he starts a final, clean vocal verse that really finishes the song off quite nicely. 5/5
