"One of my favourite bands from the 70's, The Sweet were the quintessential British singles act, raking up something in the area of 15 U.K. Top Twenty hits - all of them assembled here - within 5-6 years. They, however, came up somewhat short in the album department, and, incredibly, only ever spent about a month on the British album chart. Having recorded for 2 or 3 different labels during their prime, it has been difficicult to get all their hits on one CD, but here they all are - from the silly, early Bubblegum hits of "Funny Funny" and "Alexander Graham Bell" to the later Rock lite classics of "Fox On The Run" and "Love Is Like Oxygen" (the latter two, impressively, both U.S. Top 10 successes) via their very best mid-carreer material a la the much-sampled "Blockbuster" and "The Ballroom Blitz". That said, this is the only Sweet collection anyone'll ever need to own..."
