Great fresh Danish folk metal

"I've had this CD for a month or so, and I've been enjoying it thoroughly, and it is not getting old. I think fans of Korpiklaani, Thyrfing and Finntroll will especially dig this.

This is melodic metal with a strong heavy end- the growling vocals are heavy, and the bass guitar is prominent. This is sometimes countered by a whistle (!) which carries the extreme high end. Most of this music is fast-paced. The vocals are unintelligible to me and probably in Danish. The lead guitar is fantastic. Each song sounds a bit different, and the song structures are complex.

This is highly-recommended. I can't wait to hear Svartsot's next one."
