"They're barely known, but these guys sound like highly seasoned pros, with excellent musicianship and tight, funky grooves. Though they only hit (and moderately at that) with the opener "Who's Stickin' It", the best, most kick-butt song on here is "I Just Wanna Make Sweet Love Tonight." In any case, Mr. Collins, whichever song you consider to be your crowning achievement, Sunrize is indisputably responsible for one of the more unfortunately undiscovered R&B albums of the 80s, and I'm sorry that you never came back for more."
