CD Reviews

Amazing Christian Hardcore Which Has A Sound like No Other
Joe Trohman(020889@nt.nttc.org) | United States (Chicago, Illinois) | 12/26/1998
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Attonement is a step above many hardcore bands. This album continues where other hardcore bands can have a dead stop. A blend of melodic hardcore , heavy vocals and oldschool hardcore influence that would appeal to any listener to hardcore music. Being christian hardcore , religion influences the lyrics ,but world issues such as abortion , racism and many others penetrate into the lyrics leaving a weld in your mind. I would reccomend purchasing this album because it is one of the best hardcore albums that has ever been recorded. It does not matter if you are christian or not because the music means something to all people."
The Kings of Spirit-Filled HxCx!
Joe Brown | Illinois, USA | 08/09/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This album truly is a masterpiece! While some hardcore tends to be made in the same crusty brown cookie sheet, Strongarm stretches the genre into a unique and highly percussive onslaught. Each song is intense and brutal with a production that rivals other old school Tooth and Nail HxCx. "Trials" and "Stand Together" are my favorite tracks. The latter more so, via it's encouraging message of never failing Grace. I'd recommend this album to anybody!"
Awesome album
Jason Arellano | Glendora, CA United States | 08/07/2004

"Strongarm was one of the greatest Christian hardcore bands, while bands like unashamed and focused, were tearing it up in the west coast. Strongarm was one of the few east coast hardcore bands. The album "Atonement" is defintly there best album, musically and lyrically. This album has some awesome breakdowns for all of you who love to hardcore dance. The best tracks are defintly "trials" and "count the cost", in the song "count the cost" there is an awesome line that says; "in the name of Christ, we take up our cross." So if want to hear one the original Chirstian bands get this album, it will blow you away, oh the artwork in the album and the cover are great too."
