"This is a great CD. I own the original release from the 80s. I live in Central FL and must have see stranger 20 times in local clubs. These guys were fantastic. Ahh...to those who where there...do you remember the Budweiser Pledge that came with each show? Good times. I get this CD out every once in while. Takes me back to great live rock and roll. Back then, every Friday night was another club and another great show. Still loving Stranger after all this time and this CD still rocks."

Classic southern hard rock - and as good as it gets...

"I had only heard the hit single "3-D" from this criminally forgotten, great band, and always wondered what their other material would be like...



Fortunately, this album "No Rules" has lately been re-released by Retrospect Records - and I found out. The result: almost insane volume setting in my amplifier and Grado headphones. Because this is DAMN good rock! I'd say that if you like Whitesnake, Lynyrd Skynyrd and so on, you will absolutely love this! Bluesy, strong, nicely varying music. There are no fillers in this album; every song is there for purpose. And the best ones... well, let's say that a very much music loving female friend of mine commented: "Absolutely fantastic music!" She was right. One of the best rock albums I have ever heard, rock at rock's very heart..."
