"Silvertone are really starting to annoy me, in the last 12 months The Stone Roses have realesed 2 albums and a single, AND THEY BROKE UP 6 YEARS AGO! The album is basically DJs attempting to ruin 10 songs that were perfect as they were. The only reason I havn't given the album a lower rating is because no matter what they try do to the songs, they will always be great songs."

"Imagine you assembled the 10 finest paintings in history. I will let you choose your own 10, but I imagine that Da Vinci, Van Gough and Monet are in there somewhere. Then ask 10 graffiti artists to copy them, adding their own interpretation to the subject matter.Scared? Sickened to the core? Or fascinated at what the outcome might be?For many, the Stone Roses gave us a glimpse of heaven and to remix the Stone Roses is desecrate the grandest cathedral. However, the artists at work here have shown due deference to the Roses, and the sleeve notes indicate this with 808 State commenting: "Made of Stone is a great track and we hope we have done it some justice"The result is a must for any Stone Roses fan. The quality of the remixes does vary, and different tracks will appeal more to different people, so I will resist naming my personal choices. For someone that has yet to hear the original Stone Roses album, please DO NOT buy this CD. Buy, listen to, and fall in the love with the original first.Only then can this CD be appreciated."

"If you are a die hard fan of the stone roses this cd must be in your collection. The thing with this CD is that is an evolution of what indie music has become in the past decade. The electronic beat era that is still sweeping Great Britain comes from the once fans and performers of the late 80's early 90's scene in Manchester. So Imagine this is Stone Roses as they would performe in a private gig today.I really liked this CD... is somewhat original"
