A perfect soundtrack for the millenial meltdown

"Push Comes to Love brilliantly deconstructs the Pop Song while revelling in the history of its pleasures. There's a lot packed into these songs, but not to the point of obstructing their inherent catchiness. Imagine Steely Dan playing a Phillip Glass piece at a popular taco stand in East L.A., and you'll get the idea. And then there are the lyrics (by the likes of Dennis Cooper and Lynne Tillman)! This is a perfect soundtrack for the millenial meltdown!"
