Lady Bird

"With the passing of Lady Bird Johnson, it's a great time to have a listen to Stephen's song Lady Bird which is on the cd Ten. Stephen is a great lover of the outdoors and nature and was inspired by Lady Bird's effort to beautify the highways of the U.S. with wildflower plantings. Stephen still plays lots of the tunes off this cd in concert. Some of my other favorites are the joyful Alpine and Coco (inspired by the antics of a couple of kittens), Col de Lauteret (inspired by a harrowing drive in the French Alps) and Via Camuzzoni (inspired by a trip to visit friends in Italy). Stephen's music can take me to wonderful memories of people and places I have know."
