Synopsis

Album Description
Hanno Leichtman's Berlin studio is a friendly place. You imagine it in half-light, scattered cushions, open bottles of wine and an opulence of form welcoming his family of collaborators and friends to dip into his world of shimmering pop. Flavour Has No Name sets out the agenda in a multi-coloured display of variation and a love of a melody that will not remove itself from your mind. This is, simply put, a perfect pop record. With guests: Justine Electra, Ronald Lippok, Christoff Kurzmann, and Lali Puna's vocalist Valerie Trebeljahr.

Turn on switch off makes it worth it

(4 out of 5 stars)

"Ok if you're anything like me you've heard Turn On Switch Off a few times on somafm's groovesalad. But everytime you wen't looking for the album your search results just got you Static-X. Until one fine day you decided to search for the album name instead. Well here it is. Inside your Heaven could quite possibly be one of the most played songs on groovesalad for some reason (with its quirky "someone comes into her eye" vocals). Turn On Switch Off is a down right beautiful melody that never gets old. The rest of the album just really isn't my style I guess. Especially the tracks featuring male vocals. I'm very picky about male vocals and the naive ones on this cd kind drive me nuts.

Regardless it is still worth the wait/price, and is nice to have in your collection if you are into this type of music."
