"From Jacksonville, Florida comes Start Trouble with a great Debut album. The CD opens with a fast-paced song called "Graduation" and I think it's much better than Vitamin C's song with the same title. It continues with what could posiibly be the best 2 songs on the album, "Non-Stop" and "Chemical" with a reegae-pop/punk feel to it, it is easily one of the best songs of the year and should have been a hit. The CD continues with quality, foul-mouthed, fun songs and leads to track 8 "Retaliate" which is the top song on the album. Pick it up if you love pop/punk."
Decent debut...

"I first heard of Start Trouble via the Music Choice channels. They were playing the single "Chemical" and it caught my attetion. That was in January, and I have been anticipating this release since then. Now that I have finally gotten my hands on this CD, I figured I'd share my thoughts with other Amazon.com customers. A majority of these songs are about [mature situations], partying, and just having a fun time. 1. Graduation- pretty good way to start the cd, lots of energy 4/5
2. Non-Stop- Supposedly the second single. The lyrics, while a bit stupid, are pretty funny ... Other than that, not too great 3.5/5
3. Chemical- The reason I bought this CD. Others have said this song is incredibly stupid, but I love it. 5/5
4. Throw the Covers- Another song about being a "rebel", kind of like something Good Charlottle might write, if not for the swearing. 3/5
5. Diggin' Holes- Probably my favorite filler track. Of course, I'm hoping that in time it may be released as a single. 4.5/5
6. Psychotic for You- About having such a large crush on some girl that he's resorted to stalking her. Eh, it could be better 3/5
7. Please Leave- I really like this song, even though it seemingly promotes self-mutilation. 4/5
8. Retaliate- I really like the chorus to this song. 4/5
9. Get Over It- A break up song. What bands nowadyas don't have something like this? 3/5
10. Chorus For Destruction- A catchy "punk" like sound. 4/5
11. Wicked Eyes- Eh... This song doesn't really stand out. 3/5
12. Changes- See track 11. 3/5
13. Move B***h- Reminds me of that Ludacris song, only more annoying. I'm guessing that this is a novelty track. 2/5
14. Let's Get F****d Up- Either another novelty track, or a "blink-182"-esque track, though I find this one more funny than track 13. 4/5Overall a 50/70, not too shabby. The biggest problem I found with these guys is that they sound too much like pretty much every other "punk" band on MTV, but with more swearing."

"The first night I spent with this cd I couldn't really turn it up loud enough to hear what the guys where sayin'. I thought, man, this cd really itn't what I cracked it up to be. See I had already told everyone I worked with, all my friends, my girlfriend what a good cd this was going to be. I was almost ashamed to think I had said that...Wait tho, this review isn't over. I played it several times the next day. I was going to make myself like this cd. I knew I couldn't be wrong about these guys. And I wasn't ,wow, at all! I was so right about them. This cds overpacked with wild goofy humor! I love every song on here. Even their suckiest song still is better than what's on the radio here in NC. They sound like Blink-182 except different. Buy this cd for the member in your fam that is a fan of Zebrahead or Blink-182 and they won't be disapointed!"

"This Luke Walker is a really talented songwriter. Yes this album is commercial and juvenile, basically the musical equivalent of an American Pie movie, so if you can't deal with that move on, but the songwriting skills are so there on this record. There are a few weak songs, but most of the time the riffs, melodies, and harmonies are a cut above most similar bands. The lyrics on the single Chemical are quite thought provoking, questioning the validity of romanticizing the feelings of attraction people have for each other. "Love is a chemical, straight from your genitals, never is spiritual, never unconditional...Love is a beautiful way to face your day, but everybody's got it wrong". Who'd have thought such a dumb band could come up with such insightful social commentary? If there is any justice these guys will be bigger than Good Charlotte and Simple Plan.
