"Jumps the fence of Rock & Roll High School, the ATX quartet bruising runaways all, shaving when The Donnas were still leading cheers." -- AUSTIN CHRONICLE Sparkle Motion is a new band from Austin composed of former members of Slum City and The Applicators--great, female-fronted punk reminiscent Nikki and the Corvettes on the sugary tracks and hardcore elements on other tracks. The album contains ten original songs and one cover, "Kill Someone You Hate" by Red Kross. A vinyl EP released in late 2006 provided a preview of this great album, and received very good press from Maximum Rock `n' Roll, Now Wave, and the Austin Chronicle.
