"SERIOUSLY, it's a trip! Soundscape UK can cover a broad range of Jazz. Life Force is it! The Journey Within and Inner Space will truly take your mind for a ride. Their trippy acid funk is like no other. If I had to describe it, I'd say it has an electronica mix of Herbie Hancock, George Howard, Roy Ayers, and Guru styles. But, actually, it's none other than Chris Bangs' innovative style. Also, check out Surreal Thing by Soundscape UK and Fingalikkin' Good by their other name, Yada Yada. Mystic Vibes on that CD has that genuine Soundscape UK trippy acid style that will blow your mind! Chris Bangs is da man!"

"This is an interesting CD in that it combines mildly funky beats with warm sax and a Wes Montgomery guitar sound. It's a little too soft in places for me, I like things that swing a little more. I think it's the drum machines that turn me off. If you like this CD, you might also try: 3rd Force "Force Field" or Duboniks "On the Vibe". If you want something that's truly funky/jazzy, try Greyboy Allstars or Stanton Moore. Happy listening!"
