"To say that I was never a big fan of Soulja Boy Tell `Em wouldn't be telling the half of it. His first album was so bad that I gave it one star, and his latest album iSouljaboytellem isn't much better.

The album kicks off with yet another one of those intros that are longer than most of the songs, "I'm Bout Tha Stax". That song is forgettable, but soon you'll find Soulja trying to pull off a lot of the same stuff he tried on the first album, with lackluster results. Whereas before he was all about his Bathing Apes, here he's talking about his Yums shoes ("Wit My Yums On") and his Gucci gear ("Gucci Bandana", featuring Shawty Lo and Gucci Mane, which hardly helps matters). And "Bird Walk" sounds like a bad attempt at creating another "Crank That" (complete with "YOOO!"s).

This album is also another case where the guest stars are unknowns but aren't worth knowing, like Juney Boondata on "Go Head"; and the ridiculous "Whoop Rico" (which is about beating someone named Rico down) has an appearance by some aptly titled guys called Show Stoppers. But known guest stars aren't the best either: "Shoppin' Spree" (with Gucci Mane again, and Yo Gotti) is a pointless song about how many expensive items they buy, and "Yamaha Mama" (with Sean Kingston on the hook) goes nowhere.

"Turn My Swag On" is another mistake, and I don't know WHAT possessed him to come up with "Hey You There". And "Booty Got Swag" (the update to "Donk") might have fared a little better if the production didn't sound like a rip-off of Clipse's "Grindin'". Even the obligatory end-of-album personal song "I Pray" comes off pretty okay. While "Kiss Me Thru the Phone" is passable, it definitely isn't enough to save the album. If you weren't into Soulja Boy Tell `Em before, you probably won't feel any different after listening to this.

"Real hip hop heads im sure you are familiar with this guys material so there really is no reason to explain why this album is garbage. To the little kids listening to this BS listen to some artists like eric b & rakim, epmd, gang starr, big daddy kane, canibus, chino xl, onyx, swollen members, and das efx. That is just a few real hip hop artists."
