"I am a lover of music...I am constantly searching for that group, that artist who tries to expand the borders of music, this is one of those cds. I love the soul and emotion of early gospel but have found todays genre to be completely watered down. There's no passion left. Turth be told I found this cd in the dollar section at a used cd store, that's where all the passion is these days. This music is soul, its gospel, its passionate, and for that reason it will never find its way to radio Christian or secular! Think if the Blues Brothers did a gospel album, think if the heyday of Motown did worship at your church. You can swim in the deep soulful textures of the b-3 organ, and get immersed in the Motown gospel choir. This music is deep and progressive in nature. This is by far the best gospel I have ever heard since Mahalia. If your looking for soulful,passionate,progressive,deep,heartfelt music, it's right here. If your not, turn on your radio. Think progressively."
