"This heavy rock trio from Toronto specialize in a loud drum heavy groove that recalls a blues record slowed way down with whale tranquilizers. Psychedelic visions are inevitable but this album is merciless. Drummer Tony the Crusher keeps the beat going strong, and the bass and vocals drift through the air almost not really existing. One of the better metal albums of this year, if you consider bands like Electric Wizard and The Melvins to be metal."

A excellent combination of drone, blues, and doom.

"Just got this today. Very awesome album with some great simple riffs. So simple, that I wish I wrote them! The Hunted is a hypnotic 2-riff psychedelic monster of a song, while Losin' It is more of a Deep-Purple-on-acid tune. I'm Gone and The Other Side are both great drony blues doom, yet the highlights are Cold City Blues and In From The Storm. Both showcase Otis' great jamming skill and highlights Ken's already great guitar playing. The solo in Cold City Blues is possibly one of my favorite solos of all time.



Some people have complained about the production. It's very bass-heavy, I don't see any problems with it. Not a slight hint of treble in this at all. Then again, I listened to it om a Bose Cd stereo, which is perfect for bass-heavy doom.



All in all, a reat cd. Perfect for fans of Electric Wizard, Sleep, or Acid King."
