CD ReviewsPretty good Alex | Chicago | 06/17/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "I've listened to his first CD, which was "Love Supreme". I thought that was an excellent CD. So now he comes with another one. Well this one is NOT a dance/housetype of CD. This is a straight up R&B type of thing. The lyrics really hit home with this CD. Songs like "You know I would" and "Never be the same" are ones that I will never forget. I had to listen to this CD more than once though because initially, I was only listening to the music. Not to say that the music is bad in this one, but it's just so different from what I've heard from him before... So I had to listen to it a few times before reviewing. However with this one, he turns away from the Dance/House style. I was kind of disappointed at first, but when I take it for what it is... It's okay. Nothing special. His first one was very special and one that moved me greatly. This one doesn't get me much at all, but I bet there are some people who would really like it. Just a warning to his 1st CD fans, this one is TOTALLY different. It sounds like a funk/R&B type of thing."
