Songs & Notebooks: Vitality Through Eliese
Perry Entertainment | 08/12/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Songs & Notebooks debut CD, Vitality Through Eliese, is now available! The CD contains 10 brand new songs, including the single Make Believe!

Songs & Notebooks, represented by Perry Entertainment, is the inspiration of mastermind singer/songwriter Daric Adamson. Blending the elements of emotion and passion that are associated with today's modern rock, his own passion and admiration for classic rock icons such as Alice Cooper, and a touch of 80's, this young prodigy has now taken it upon himself to utilize his wide range of talents to bring you the listener a musical experience that has long been overdue.

Daric describes the CD as follows: "In one hand I hold immense sorrow...in the other I hold pure hope...this album is the definitive battle between the two...my life has been nothing but a rollercoaster of emotional war...through 22 years of life as I know it...this is the outcome of what I have been through and what I have learned."

Daric Adamson, who currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where he was born, originally got the idea for Songs & Notebooks early in 2007 after writing the songs So Say Goodbye and Where No One Will Hurt You. Daric describes the day when he knew this idea would become reality as such:

"I received a call one normal Saturday morning, while sitting there in bed, I had been up all night playing video games and was dealing with a nasty hangover, and out of nowhere at like 7:20 am my phone rang and it was Fred Perry of Perry Entertainment. We spoke for a few moments about the amazing fact that I was up at such and early hour, but it was that phone call when Fred asked if I would like to sign on with Perry Entertainment and record a CD. Well! I must have jumped 7 feet in the air out of bed and was in total shock running around my house in a pair of boxers and total bed hair. That next Saturday I was on a plane, my notebooks and guitars in hand."
