As most of the Classical Kids series, this is a great CD. My kids first got into the Arthurian legend from reading The Magic Tree House series when they first started reading chapter books. Then they watched the TV series Merlin and they have been hooked ever since.

This CD does offer up some intriguing historical fiction as well as music from the English medieval and early Renaissance time period. I have children who are ages 2, 5, 9, and 11 and they all enjoy listening to this. (I have three girls and one boy)

I homeschool my kids and found this was a very enjoyable and educational CD. We have studied both time periods and I thought this CD would be great for the kids as well. If you want to introduce your kids to beautiful music without boring them, this is a great place to start.

My copy also allows you to print coloring pages and other extras on your printer.

A great deal, especially on Swapacd!

Good intro to Medieval and Renaissance music

"I teach Music History and have found this cd to be a very useful tool in introducing young people to Medieval and Renaissance music. The story is engaging and the music is wonderful. All my students who had said they hated this style of music had a change of heart after listening to this cd. Recommended for the private and public school teacher."
