"This is a great performance. If you like the classics then this one should be in your collection along with all of Stanley's other performances. If I could give him 10 stars I would definatly give him 11. His music raises the hair on my neck and gives me goosebumps everytime I slap it in the old stereo. If your into the good old reggae this is a must. Trust me, I have an ear for the classics and his style is pure classic. Irie"

"The Starlights had light success in the early 70s, with this lp, "Soldering" the title cut was a smash in Jamaica upon its release. The album meshes Jamaican lore and comedic sayings as well as beautiful harmonies on love songs. Its a very good album. It's not the typical roots and kulcha that was very prime in that era, but nonetheless has a softer touch."
