This album, like most SNOG albums, brings balls out humour to serious subjects in dark and yet pop beat style. The music of SNOG is verry hard to categorize,...spaghetti western/electro-pop/industrial/experimental/...???? Any of those will work depending on what song your playing. David Thrussel, the genuis and creator of SNOG, brings some of the boldest lyrics you've ever heard, and he does it in a verry entertaining fashion. Below are examples of the lyrics from each song.
1. "king of hate" - some shelter in a monastery study dusty books others wear a badge and pretend that they're not the crooks 2. "on the rise" - abbadon is on the rise moloch is on the rise 7. "poison" - took my craft for a spin the other day we cruised past the milky way said to the creature 'oh, my friend...i fear this might be the end' 9. "the desease" - one weeks it's bombs another it's britney 10. "don't go down to the woods today" - don't go down to the mail today it's all zombies anyway glassy eyed they stare at the tube believe any carp that comes through 11. "destroyer" - the postman brought some sad news today the human race has raced away 12. "al qaeda is your best friend" - when your down in the polls they'll drop a bomb when your story's full of holes they'll drop a bomb when there is an election or any kind of trouble i'll place bets they'll arive at the double 13. "the de-evolutionaries" - oh take me to your saviour if i'm mad will i get good behaviour if i'm bad will i taste failure 14. "a hymn for the fascist republic" - the wells dry up the kill off begins distraction and disinformation allow the elete to prevail ghettos swell while gated communities become fortesses SNOG VRS.
