Album Description
A Smooth Jazz collection of songs that paint a vivid and emotional portrait of the night. Featuring twelve tracks from some of Smooth Jazz's best-known artists and a brand new track produced by Brian Bromberg featuring up and coming trumpet player Tony Guerrero, "Smooth Jazz At Midnight" is a touching account of the passion, mystery, and serenity that can only be found after dark. Whether you are driving home late at night, or at home by the fire, this is the music of the night.

CD Reviews

Great compilation!
04/13/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Another great Smooth Jazz compilation from the folks at Native Language. This one is great for a late night listen. The first track by Tony Guerrero is a classic one, and with artists like Acoustic Alchemy, Patti Austin, and Jeff Kashiwa, how can you go wrong? Pick this record up because it belongs in your collection!"

"I am a jazz fan, and this CD is so mellow and relaxing. I listen to it both in my car and at home. No stress whatsoever. Just pure mellow."
Twice in a Lifetime

"Not since moving away from New York, sorely missing CD101.9FM Smooth Jazz radio, have I been pleasantly reminded of their programming. This CD is a sexy compilation of classic jazzy styles, fused together to make one delicious-sounding continuous stream of relaxing yet upbeat sounds.

Patti Austin's throaty voice blends with an eclectic mix of original and haunting sounds - my favorite "groove" is Michael Lington's "Twice in a Lifetime".

Try it while driving to mellow out in traffic. Also perfect listening when preparing a meal or kicking back after your hectic day, great way to relax.
