CD Reviews

Soothing and BEAUTIFUL
Amy Praphantanathorn | Bay Area, CA and Bangkok, Thailand | 02/14/2000

"I've had this CD for awhile now and most CDs I buy I get tired of listening to them after awhile. Not with Slumberland. Each song is very different and has so much beautiful soundscape and layering that I get very rich and vivid images in my imagination while listening. Like the other two reviewers, I like the song by Witchcraft, but I have to say that my two favorites are #2: Golden Needle, The - A Produce. This one I've heard described as Pink Floydish with the guitar. I especially like the underlaying lush sound beneath the guitar. It floats... My other favorite is track #4: You Are That - Sanjiva. It has a very Indian flair to it with a sort of sarangi sound and a definate classic Goa trance sound set to a mellow but very deep and rich musical score. Do not hesitate to buy this CD! You will enjoy it for eternity it is that good."
I LOVE this CD...and NEVER get tired playing it OVER & OVER!

"This is such a great CD for sensual times. Like an old friend in the night, I put it on and drift away with my main squeeze. We play it everytime and NEVER get tired of it. Ahhhhhh, I just went and put it on while I'm writing this!"
Moody and transcendant...a must have

"This album provides an ambient atmosphere of drowsiness. All the tracks are simple, serene, and non-intrusive. Perfect background music for reading, studying, writing, creating art, or just escaping for awhile. Highly recommended (particularly Track 7 from "Witchcraft")."
