CD Reviews

Great country punk

(4 out of 5 stars)

"Slick 57 are a Dallas based outfit who write catchy country rock songs or what one might label alternative country. This plays like a combination of Hank Williams and Greenday and that is indeed a good thing. The songs tale stories of drinking, leaving, cheating, heartache and break. It all starts with "Cheating side of town" and only gets better from there. At first, this album didn't appeal to me but it gets better with repeated listens."
