Synopsis

Product Description
After 2006 saw him reach #2 on the CMJ and Rap Attack Lives charts for his "Rich Man, Poor Man" single, and national rotation on the DJ Premier-produced SPECIAL TEAMZ single, 2007 promises to be SLAINE's year. As a key member of LA COKA NOSTRA alongside MR. WHITE (aka EVERLAST of HOUSE OF PAIN), ILL BILL (NON PHIXION) and BIG LEFT, with production by DJ MUGGS (CYPRESS HILL), DJ LETHAL (HOUSE OF PAIN), ILL BILL, SICK JACKEN (PSYCHO REALM) & more, his lyrical presence will be experienced by stadiums this year... SLAINE landed a co-starring role in BEN AFFLECK's directorial debut, Dennis Leahne's "Gone Baby Gone", alongside MORGAN FREEMAN, CASEY AFFLECK & ED HARRIS, scheduled for 2007 release. "The White Man is the Devil Volume 2" is a controversial look into the cocaine trade through the eyes of an addict. Featuring appearances by EVERLAST, DANNY BOY, DJ LETHAL, B-REAL, ILL BILL, EDO G, more, all original production, and a surprisingly deft lyrical delivery while dealing with controversial issues.

Slaine's Back!
It Starts With A C | San Diego, CA | 07/24/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Slaine didn't really make a name for himself untill this year. I only know a few people out in my area who knew who he was untill La Coka Nostra blew up. So if you don't know who Slaine is, check this cd out, he's awesome. If anything I'd say he sounds like a cross between Jedi Mind Tricks and Esoteric. He has that sick underground hate style, mixed with good lyrics and wordplay. This CD has a couple songs I would skip but everything else is stuff I'd bump before a robbery. That's a good thing. Check this cd out, "White Man Is The Devil Vol. 1" is even better than this. He is deffinently worth checking out. Also his group "Special Teamz" is something worth peeping."
