CD ReviewsSkull Kontrol twists, gropes, and kicks you in the teeth. 09/10/1999 (4 out of 5 stars) "Somehow, bands fronted by Chris Thomson are always off-beat in the right direction. Circus Lupus had punk edge with meandering, furious, poetic lyrics. Monorchid gave off a Sex Pistols meet the Rocky Horror Picture Show vibe, while Skull Kontrol rocks like a mad comic book character with severe ADD. My only complaint about Skull Kontrol's first release is that it is too short--I'd like to listen to these folks for a good 45 minutes, not 18. Overall, the band kicks ass. Punk about whatever, twist how you wanna."
