Synopsis

Album Description
One of contemporary Reggae's most consistent sellers; Sizzla is back with a word for the people. In the familiar style of the classic Sizzla album Da Real Thing, this latest album takes familiar rhythms and re-invents melody and message for today's `Ghetto Youth'. CD Reviews

If You REALLY know Sizzla You Have MOST of these tunes alrea

(3 out of 5 stars)

"In short this is a good collection of songs taken from that period when Sizzla was more like Sizzla. Some from late nineties and more from early millenium around the time of Rise to the Occasion. That should explain why the album leaves you with the same feeling of Rise to the Occasion. I counted only 2 tunes that were made in recent times, one of them being the tune to Barack Obama. All others I own from before. Having said that, the quality of music is definitely good, but it says little about what Sizzla is capable of right now. We all know he was one of the most gifted reggae artistes ever to hold a microphone, but is he still? I am still waiting on a true studio project and not just a compilation."
