CD Reviews

Brilliant

"I bought this album (the cassette tape version, remember them?) when it came out in 1993. Some years later, I wore out the tape and bought the CD. A single month has never gone by without me giving this album a spin. 6FS's other albums are great as well, but this one remains my favorite, hands down. That's not to say that it suits everyone's taste; my wife hates it, for example. But if you're looking for some spacey, angry, high-energy rock that still sounds fresh some 12 years later, pick it up."
This CD is good, so purchase it now!

"This CD has been in my normal rotation for 5 or 6 years and I still haven't even started to get tired of it. I don't know how to describe it... I'd call it angry sci-fi rock... Whatever you want to call it, it is up to you... Somebody once told me that when they tour they do free shows at prisons. If you've ever been in prison maybe you've seen them live... If I was stuck in a cell for the rest of my life this is what would be playing in my head. SIX FINGER SATELLITE!"
Good, if obscure

"I have had this album for a number years and it was recommended to me via the alt.fan.devo newsgroup. While they are bizarre and enigmatic, I will argue they are not like DEVO in any significant way. This album is funny, wierd and energetic. But don't try and make sense of it, just listen and enjoy."
