Pop-lockin' / B-Boyin' Electro Breaks - SUPERB TUNES!

"BE WARNED: (THIS IS NOT THE NU-SKOOL OF BREAKS - Icey, Freeland, Baby Anne, Plump DJs, and likewise).

Although those guys are "the fire" when it comes to breaks, don't expect their type of sound in this mix (recommend you try it before you buy it).

-I'm a fan of the older school of electro-breaks (Arthur Baker, Kraftwerk, Afrika Bambatta, Aux 88, and likewise).

-I got this CD back in 1998 by recommendation from an old DJ friend in Austin,TX.

-It blew me away. It was (and still is) everything that 'roots-electro-breaks' embodies:

thick kicks, hard-metallic snares, acidy-atmospherics, and most importantly - deep & low basslines that go "BOOOOOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOOOOOM" (cheesy inclusion, but you kinda get the idea).

-Cool thing about this CD: it's 50%/50% track production between Single Cell Orchestra & Freaky Chakra - BUT IT'S A MIX (no fades on the start/end of the tracks).

-Expect pure 80's style breaks, with a faster and more progressive style.

I've made many copies of this recording, for fear that it will go out of print one day - IT'S THAT GOOD!"

"The depth of beats, textures, and rhythms in this amazing c.d. are ripe for some serious rump bumpin'and speaker f-kn. If you have ever thought to yourself "wow, what a beautiful sound"You'll probably wet your Knickers once you hear this album. It gives me hope for the future and the future of music. These epic beats should only be played on high Quality sound systems at extream volume(call the cop's time)!!! I've got nothing but good responses from people who have never heard "electronic" music before. most ask to hear it again. Do your self a favour and buy this album. If you already have it I've most likely told you something you already know very well."
