Simply Jane first slipped onto the rock radar in 2001, with the release of their debut album, "Greatest Hits," which was recorded in their home studio. With some changes in the band line-up, Simply Jane forged ahead, wrote some new songs and ended up in Cannon Falls, MN, home of Pachyderm Studio. Many big names in music--Nirvana, PJ Harvey, Live, Soul Asylum, and most recently, Mudvane, have written and recorded albums at the secluded residential studio.
Band members Jana Davis (vocals), Steve Hill (guitar), Mike Zapp (keyboards), Shawn Day (bass)and Jack Shannon (drums) hail from various backgrounds, but all ended up in Sheridan, Wyoming, where Simply Jane was formed. Known for their great live performances, the band is back in Sheridan rehearsing the material from their new self titled album for upcoming shows.

THEY SAY is one of the best songs I've had heard this year. The melody did not get out of my ears. Play this track very loud for all your neighbours. They would also love the excellent harmonies of They Say. SIMPLY JANE is a wonderful new band. It's outstanding rock with rich harmonies, great vocals and also great guitars.
