CD Reviews

Awesome Album!!!
Ms. Pele | Bay Area, Cali | 04/26/2005

"The vocalists in this album down to the Producers are just incredible! This album should be one of the top 10 of the charts, yet people will tend to oversee it because of the garbage hype of today. This album is AWESOME! I ran across an mp3 of "Spread That" and was sold ever since. Great to play all 4 seasons, in the ride, w/ friends @ a lounge party, a BBQ, family reunion, aw heck this album would be great practically anywhere ('cept for funerals ;-p) If you like the likes of D'Nell & The Underwolves, GRAB THIS!! This is one of those much needed albums of today, absolutely wonderful! I couldn't believe what I was in for... just fantabulous!

Kudos~ PM

My favorite tracks:

-Spread That

-Whose In Charge!!

-Just a Little More

-Pain (It's Gonna Come)

-Monday's Coming

But the entire album is great, trust!"
Funky, jazzy solid combination of styles

"A must-buy for anyone who likes their jazz smooth, but not raido smooth; who likes their dance tracks with a little more flair then 4-to-the-floor; who likes their electronica with some warmth. This incredibly produced and thought-through record really sells itsef on its merits: strong performances, tight and wild arrangements, funk for days...a great record for that eclectic house party. This is what radio should sound like."
Short and Sweet!

"Pick This Up immediately!!! If you enjoy the innovative sounds of Dego from 4hero, and the keys of Kaidi Tatham you will explode when you hear this CD. Upstart vocalist Deborah Jordan absolutely laces each and every melody and if that is not enough Bembe Segue plays a supporting role and does a handful of background vocals! I know that the West London (broken beat) sound is just starting to leak in the US, but hear me now cop this or be left out in the cold. The album starts with Who's In Charge an hypnotic anthem that sets a perfect tone for the album. As a matter of fact the song encourages all naysayers to not play safe, but make your move. A perfect intro to an audio dream. Trust Me Make Your move and Cop this joint pronto!"
