CD Reviews

Laut Gedacht is an excellent sophmore release.

"I fell in love with Silbermond when I was in Germany last summer and bought Verschwende Deine Zeit, which I think is an excellent rock album. I eagerly bought Laut Gedacht and am equally impressed. My favorite tracks, thus far, are Meer Sein, In Zeiten Wie Diesen, Das Beste and Nein Danke. The whole album is well written, produced and recorded. If you are into Rock n' Roll driven by power chord guitars with catchy hooks and excellent lyrics (of course in German) than check this album out. You will not find many bands from the US like Silbermond, unfortunately."

"I just got my copy of Laut Gedacht from Amazon.de today. It cost me more but it came with a DVD(Region 0) of Silbermond Live. On DVD there is a track "Goodbye" a Die Happy song. Die happy is a great German band. Being the big Die Happy fan that I am. I couldn't pass up Die Happy feat Silbermond "Goodbye".

Now, that said Laut Gedacht is a good CD with a lot of good songs. Such as: "Meer Sein", "Unendlich", "Das Beste", "Schick Love", and "So Wie Jetzt" to name a few. Right now have only played the CD 2x but I'd say they did a good job on this CD. However, I like their frist CD Verschwende deine Zeit better. Also I was a little sad to see that "Vielen Dank" and "Kauf mich" didn't make it on this CD. They are great songs that they played on Verschwende Deine Zeit LIVE. I was hoping for studio versions of those.

Over all a good CD!"
