"Click Track" is Shwa's first release since 2004?s critically acclaimed ?Just a Thought.? The DC-based quartet recorded "Click Track" in the summer of 2005 after winning a competition through Tribe.net. The contest awarded Shwa the title "Best Local Band," and gave them twenty free hours of recording time at Indre Studios in Philadelphia, where top artists such as Weezer and Coldplay have cut tracks in the past. ?Click Track" contains six songs, both upbeat and dark but easily the band's most rocking effort to date. The album is a collection of quarter-life crisis anthems, backed with haunting melodies and hooks, leaving the average listener no choice but to hum their songs after listening to them.
