CD Reviews

Good CD, waiting for the next one
Joseph Soldo | 06/14/2005

"I've known these guys for a few years now and have run sound for them since before they started touring. They are solid musicians and only getting better. I've been impressed every time I hear them live. Their energy is amazing and they've only gotten better with time. I particularly love the drums and organ, but the other instruments are great too.

Personally I liked their first CD better, but this is a more polished sound and very good in its own right. I just wish some of the songs were longer because I tend to get into them and then they are over. I'll keep an eye out for their next CD."
Ahhhhh...... sherwood

"sherwood rocks my socks off. their music is amazing, and their live shows are even better. just get the cd; you'll love it, i promise. they take the best from many different genres and combines it into one great sound-fest for your ears! everyone who i have played this for loves it, not one person has said "ehhhhhh, its just alright".

if you love this album, get their super catchy self titled demo disc from smartpunk.com."
Can't miss an episode

"This is as good as you get when it comes to Pop. The songs are catcy enough without getting cheesy, and it makes me respect Sherwood for making this album. There is a sense of loss of home, which comes from Track 4 Lake Tahoe. Filed amongst a lot of TV's and stereo's, this is a good find, and probably one of the better pop/rock acts for 2005. I would say download Learn to Sing & Gentleman of Promise, but you can pick this one up used from $6."
