"This was the most underrated releases of the 90's!
Brennan Hester's vocals reach out of each song and grab your soul. The songwriting is flawless for the genre, with songs like "She Thinks" and "I Had Thought" swirling into blissful pop perfection. High profile guests such as David Hidalgo (Los Lobos) and Ian MacLagen (Faces, Rolling Stones)let you know that you aren't the ONLY one who thinks The Sextants should have ended up where bands lesser bands are now. Max Butler's guitar work was ahead of it's time, with it's flailing dischord bookended by classic western twang. If you love good alt-pop music, you owe it to yourself to check this out.
Also, The Sextants provided some music for a cool movie called "My Boyfriend's Back". Check that out, too!"
