"Unless your advanced degree is in Sex Pistology, there likely won't be any need to purchase this.
The track list featured titles with which I wasn't familiar, so I picked up this item cheaply, out of curiosity. I played it, and was pleasantly surprised to learn that this compilation is comprised of live tracks. Whether these are all previously released, I can only guess. I did a cursory check of other Pistols live releases, and these versions do seem to be different. Sound quality, though rough, is not bad -- a bit like high quality bootleg material. Packaging is attractive, and includes a cardboard slipcase.
On the negative side, the handful of tracks featuring Sid Vicious at the microphone have very poorly recorded vocals.
Also, there are no liner notes -- these consist only of copyright information, and nothing about the actual recordings. In addition, John Lydon's name is misspelled throughout as 'John Lyndon,' suggesting that little care and attention went into the preparation of this product.
The releasing company, Delta Music, based in the UK, is a recording company specializing in budget-priced compilations.
Casual fans looking for a smattering of Sex Pistols tracks may appreciate this live collection. Those Pistols fans willing to comb the earth for any and every recording they can get their hands on may find it an attractive package as well. As a fan, if you fall in anywhere between the two, you probably won't want to bother."
